“I am a short time volunteer within the Halo House operation which aims to provide housing for patients being treated for lymphoma, myeloma and leukemia at a very low rate and is located near the Texas Medical Center. This work is indeed a rewarding experience, and it is also a pleasure to be with the Halo House officers, directors, staff and fellow volunteers in the many facets of the fundraising effort. I am also a lymphoma patient at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.” – Doug Reese
